Was rummaging through The lovely Little miss C and found her Big Christmas tag, on which she tagged me. And voila! Here it is.
What is your favourite thing about Christmas?
I just love the atmosphere. It's always very relaxed at my Mums house at Christmas but this year I'll be at my Dads and there's gonna be 14 people! It'll definitely be... different there!
Do you have an advent calendar?
Well...yeah! Exept when we bought it, it kinda melted so the chocolate inside now resembles reindeer poos.
What time of the year do you start your Christmas shopping?
I say every year that I'm gonna do it early this year but I'll probably do it last minute as per usual. That doesn't mean I'll forget to get you one though!
When do you start decorating for Christmas?
Haha! Normally at mums its, like, on the 10th of December but I think it's gonna be whenever me an my stepsister are in Nottingham at the same time! This could be on the 4th or the 23rd so I don't know! Soz!
Real or fake tree?
Real. Always real. Its just the way it looks, y'know? It looks so traditional and pretty and amazing and beaut. *le sigh* I want a tree now...
Handmade or bought Christmas cards?
It will always be handmade for me. I literally went on about making cards in my first #bigblogmasproject post. Anyways, it's always WAY more personal if you make it. It just radiates love! (This is getting cheesy... next question!)
Giving or receiving presents?
hmmm. I'd have to say both! I love seeing that happy face just 'vwumph' (nice word) onto the person's face but it's equally lovely getting that dress that may or may not be from asianicandy and maybe might have tiny blue flowers on it. *hint hint*
Do you open your presents in the morning or evening?
WHAT KIND OF DERANGED PERSON OPENS THEIR PREZZIES IN THE AFTERNOON? *cough* But why? Why go through the torture of having to stare at these lovingly wrapped presents just waiting to be ripped open? I will never understand...
What's your favourite Christmas song?
Oh dear. You should never ask me this question..
Shake up Christmas
Santa baby
It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas
I wish it could be Christmas every day
White Christmas
All I want for Christmas is youuuuuuu! (ohhh baby!)
Fairytale of New York
Last Christmas
(just realised it said 'song' oops...)
What is your favourite Christmas film?
Meh. Not a big fan of Christmas films. Not something I grew up with I guess... If I have to say one though it would probably be 'How the Grinch stole Christmas'
What is your favourite makeup look for the festive season?
Oooh! This month I'm going to embrace the berry lip shades! They're so totally Christmassy and make a big statement!
Christmas day fashion
Apperantly this year my stepmother has decided to buy me a Christmas jumper which I will try to style to the best of my abilities...
I think I'll go with a black dungaree dress and big chunky cable knit tights and maybe some big boots or a little studded pair of flats. Then depending on the main colour of the jumper, add some colour matching accessories. Tell me your thoughts!
What is your favourite Christmas food?
Right. Ok my stepmum/dad makes this amzing dish called 'creamies' (crispy potato's and creamy sauce) and there is never enough! Like seriously! You could make 3 dishes and there wouldn't be leftovers.
What's your favourite Christmas memory?
I like the waking up bit and then you realise it's Christmas and practically leap out of bed. I like that.
You're in a coffee shop, it's December, what do you pick?
A big hot chocolate with whipped cream an marshmallows. Can't beat that.
What Are Your Favourite Christmas Colours? & What's your favourite colour scheme for decorating the tree?
Silver and white. Pretty, sparkly and simple.
To mince pie or not to?
Ick. No. Nevahh!. They're just soooo.... bleh. Defo not to mince pie!
What's your traditional Sunday lunch?
It's only occasionally we have a sunday lunch but when we do, its amazing.
Pork in coke
Lamb
Mash potatoes
Roasties
Creamies
Every veggie
And mountains of bread
What is your favourite Christmas drink?
Hot chocolate. Just the smell!
What is your favourite Christmas smell?
Cinnamon. Doesn't matter what time of the year it is, you waft a cinnamon stick under my nose and suddenly it's Christmas!
Have you ever built a gingerbread house?
Never ever! I'd love to try to but it probably wouldn't be so much a house that a lump of delicious rubble!
Do you have any festive recipes for food or drink you limit solely to the Christmas season to share?
I don't actually. I think I might have to look a few up.
Egg Nog or Hot Chocolate?
I've wondered what egg nog is for years. Is it sutiable? If so, I want to try it. Until then, hot chocolate all the way.
Are you on the Naughty list or the Nice list?
ummmm....Nice?
Who is your favourite person to buy presents for?
What's the one thing you really want to get from Santa this Christmas?
*hint hint* Asianicandy dress *hint hint*
My mum. She's always very specific in what she wants which makes shopping easy!
What is the weirdest gift you have ever received?
Hippy socks. Thanks mum.
If You Could Only Buy One Person a Present This Year Who Would It Be?
My mum. She's been lovely all year.
Have you ever had a White Christmas?

Do you hang mistletoe?
Haha no! No one to kiss!
Where do you usually spend Christmas eve and day?
Eve: With my family at home, me typically drooling on the presents, my mum watching TV.
