 I'm sorry that I didn't upload last week. I was away in Belfast being rained on. I can't complain too much though, because I SAW WHERE CASTLE BLACK IN GAME OF THRONES WAS FILMED. I also may have visited the giant's causeway too which was wayyyyyyyyyyy too awesome for my mediocre photography skills to capture. It's actually spread out quite a lot, if you haven't seen it, so it's not just this big clunky pile of hexagon shaped rocks like you imagine it to be, its actually a very wide expanse of hexagon shaped rocks that are stupidly slippy because the waves that drench them in water are extremely big. Like, seriously, I have never seen breakers that huge before. It's phenomenal, it really is.

Ireland

My little feet are only beginning to thaw from the freezing gale force wind outside. HIIISSSSS to winter weather.

So I went to Ireland this weekend to see my lovely relatives and to see my little baby cousin get christened (totally adorable, I swear.) It was really nice to go out with my camera and take some shots of the gorgeous, rural scenery while I could, although I had to be honest, my hands were literally blue by the end. I think it was worth it though.

Oh, and just a tip if you are going to Ireland any time soon and you are also a veggie like me, beware of the non existent vegetarian options! It really isn't fun eating just carrots while everyone is eating a full meal... (but I did get to drink half of Ireland's supply of green tea so that's my payback)

Hey guys,

Berlin was amazing! It was so beautiful in an 'urban' kind of way. Stickers and graffiti covered literally everything. It was basically my room, but on an industrial scale. On one lamppost someone had cut down through the centre of thousands of flies which had been stuck on top of each other for years. You could stick your arm into the hole and still not touch the metal! And the graffiti was just... so beautiful and just unbelievably creative. I wish I could draw like some of those guys could.

 

Also, get this, we all imagine Germany as the stereotypical meat-everywhere-not-a-veggie-place-in-sight right? Nope! There were just streets of vegan/vegetarian places all around the city which was awesome! (Not to mention delicious..)

 

I totally suggest going there. It was hands down, one of my favourite cities in the world. (in a close tie with Tokyo. Tokyo was beyond anything I've ever seen.)
