#BigBlogmasProject Day 13: Essential winter beauty products

Play to receive fairy hugs

Sup guys! This is kind of a #bblogger (beauty blogger) style post and is not something I'm OVERLY experienced in but I do know a teensy weensy bit of knowledge about the flaws of the cold weather. So join me, young reader (or old. I don't know) as we step into the world of winter skincare *cue fanfare* !

Moisturize!

It's absolutely, completely and totally essential that you moisturize all year round but in Winter you may need something a little bit more...  moisturize-y. I would recommend the simple products not only because they are very effective but also because they are good for all skin types.

Lips!
In the day and at night I do a mini Marilyn Monroe and put Vaseline on my lips. I love the cocoa one as cocoa is naturally proven to boost production serotonin and dopamine. ( Basically means it improves your happy hormones) Another good tip is to eat cinnamon. Cinnamon helps tiny blood cells to dilate thus smoothing out fine lines.

Cleansing
A facial steam is a cheap way to provide deep cleansing. The steam removes dirt and toxins from your skin. Remember to splash your skin with cold water after you've steam cleansed to close all your pores. Tip: Remove all makeup beforehand to ensure a thorough lovely cleanse.

Hair maintenance
Something me and my mum do when our hair is particularly dry is a hot oil treatment. Sound posh doesn't it? Well it actually isn't. It's pretty much coating your hair in natural oil (best is coconut oil), wrapping it in cling film, washing it out and then doing the whole process again and then washing your hair like a crazy person to get the oil out. It may not smell

wonderful but it works a dream.

That's all for today my lovelies!
See ya soon

Please note: I do not take responsibility if you hurt yourself or have some kind of allergy to the products I recommend. Please test all products on a small patch of skin before you use them on your face. Thanks!
