#BigBlogmasProject Day 1: Get your perfect christmas prezzie

Play this
On the first day of Chriiiiistmas my true love gave to meeeeeeee, a partridge in a pear treeeee!

Hello guys. Strawbs here. And you know what time it is? No, not adventure time, CHRISTMAS MONTH! HAZZAH! btw, In my mind, Christmas lasts a whole month, starting from December 1st. I don't even care if it isn't cold yet. Its Christmas to me. Shut up.

So, to kick start blogmas I'm going to show you how to buy cheaper Christmas prezzies for your parents, brothers, sisters, cats, dogs and parakeets. Really hope they help!

Set a budget

First of all, how many people are you buying gifts for. I know your family mean all the world to you, but you don't need to spend a lot to get a meaningful present. Then, you'll want to buy cards. One of the easiest ways to save cash on cards is buying plain white envelopes and cards from your local craft store and then decorating them yourself.  Most small craftstores sell them for £2 for 50 cards. More than enough. For decorating the cards you might need to buy felt tips : £1.99 for the cheapest set.

Get creative

Why not have a go at making something this year? There are plenty of things you can make! Why not try :
my English book
  • Redecorate an old notebook using wrapping paper (I did this with my English school book)
  • Make a bracelet
  • Have ago at tie dye! Dip dye cheap sneakers or reinvent the hippy leggings!
  • Make a denim bag out of a pair of old jeans. (I did this once when I was 9 with my mum)
  • Grab a whisk and get cooking! Try your hand at making chocolates, cookies and biscuits. Always appreciated!

Unleash your decorating monster!

You can go ca-raaaazy with this one. Make bows, do the that thing with the scissors and the ribbon to make it go curly, why not even try to make some wrapping paper? It will look pretty whatever you do.

That's all for now guys. See ya soon
