#Bigblogmasproject Day 21: What's all the fuss about Essie?

Hiya there!
*sings* 4 more sleeps to go! ,4 more sleeps to Santa! 4 more sleeps til' a big round guy comes down your chimney with sweets and presents and sweets and stuff, 4 more sleeps for Santa!!

Now, I was doing my daily look at my favourite blogs when I found that 6 of the bbloggers had each done a post/review on Essies nails and I was like "WUT?" cus' of course I've heard of Essie but I hadn't realised there was so much drama over how great they are!

(Just saying but I wanted to go into town to try and get some to review but WHAT IDIOT WOULD GO INTO TOWN 4 DAYS BEFORE CHRISTMAS? And I'm not the kind of person who gets an adrenaline rush out of being in a human avalanche at John Lewis.)

Anyway I thought I'd do the low-down on who they were...

Essie are an American company who are the apparent gods of nails. They sell varying types of sparkly polish, matte polish, super-shiny polish and nail art stuff. Even from the adverts I'm loving the colours and overall finish of the polish. On every blogger it always looks professional.
hors d'oeuvres By Essie
Their prices are varying from £2.50 to £10.95 on the more professional polishes which is alright considering their quality

I will definitely be testing their products in the New year. Expect reviews!

See ya soon you lovely lot

#BigBlogmasProject Day 20: Braiding 101 with Strawberry

Hiya there! Tis' Strawberry with a few wintery ideas for your hair. These are the ones  that I deemed absolutely-like-totally-amazing-beaut-like-OMG-wowzers. Lets get stuck in!

 - Uber long messy fishtail
Ok, so ignoring the Hawaii coconut bra get-up, Rihanna just makes the fishtail look amazing. I've seen loads of people do this at school and when they do it, they mess it up to get the nice, tousled, just-got-out-of-bed look.

 - The halo braid
I love this. It looks really pretty and innocent and a little fairy-y. I would personally mess it up a bit and pull out a few small strands. There are plenty of how-to's on the tinternet for you to work out how to do this! (Don't ask me to do it, I can't manage anything more than a fishtail)
The French side braid in a ponytail -
This is, like, so pretty. (Anyone noticed all these hairstyles are bed-heady?) Anyway, this is actually very simple. If you know how to French braid this is fairly easy and it looks nicer loose anyway.

Much love and chocolate

#BigBlogmasProject Day 18: What's in my bag? (Ya nosey buggers)

Hey! Would you believe it's only 8 more days til' Christmas! Am soooo excited. You cannot believe. (well maybe you can. I don't know...)
Anyway, I thought I'd do a What's in my bag? because I'm sure you'd love to be all nosey and have a look.

  • My fox gloves - At the moment I wear these all the time at school. They're just so comfy!
  • My purse- I remember saving up for this over months. It has served me well over the years but I think it may be slowly plodding towards its death...
  • Hairbrush- I never EVER go anywhere without my trusty brush
  • Assorted pencils- 80% of these 'assorted pencils' are snapped, blunt or just broken.
  • Lip balm- Right now I'm loving my balm from The Body Shop balm. It comes in a pink tube and is super simple and small.
  • Hair bobbles: Never know when you might need a hair bobble.
  • A notebook- I always have a notebook with me because sometimes I find a little shop I want to review and I always make notes when reviewing a shop.
  • My camera & my phone
See ya soon guys

#BigBlogmasProject Day 17: A serious post *serious face*

I would just like you to watch this video. It was so amazing and although it's not about fashion, It is a good message for Christmas. Feel free to leave a comment.

This year, as part of the #BigBlogmasProject, I would love for you to spend less on presents and more on time. And with your leftover money, you could make a donation to your local charity, for others less fortunate than yourselves.
Thank you so much for reading. I know this was a very serious post but I felt I wanted to make a point.
See ya soon guys
